Born in Norway, this Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and Finnish Champion, was imported to the United States in 1999 after winning his International Championship in Gotland,Sweden. Pringo was ranked # 4 Phaléne in Sweden for the year 1997 and ranked #1 Phaléne for years 1998 & 1999. He was the only Phaléne in Sweden at the time to carry four championship titles from four different countries, and is pointed in United States.
Little did I know that this dog was a wonderful gentle spirit and would become the love of my life, a very special one of a kind companion. I was honored to have such a fine representative of the Phaléne variety and I believe that my purchasing this lovely dog began an enthsiasm within the US for the variety by means of my starting the first Phalène internet list and advocacy for this variety within PCA; which in turn helped with the current popularity in the variety today. And without a hint of modesty I truly believe Pringo was the one that started it all.

I have a very reasonable stud dog contract and encourage other Phalene fanciers to use him before he is gone. He is ten years old and produces lovely drop eared puppies most having full nose bands and blazes, and he has never ever given me a large female puppy. It is a shame he was not used more by fanciers of the variety.
With the return of his grand daughter Crisanda Moonlight Seronera he will sire his last litter with me this summer. I hope his legacy will continue through a lovely puppy.
