When you buy a puppy from me, you can rest assured that this pup has had a good start in life.
The litter is wormed at two, four and six weeks with Evict and again at nine, twelve and sixteen weeks.
They are given a parvo shot at six weeks. This
DA2P+Pv shot includes Distemper, Adenovirus Type 2, Parainfluenza (MLV) Parvovirus Vaccine from Fort Dodge.
Puppies that I raise receive a parvo shot at six, nine, twelve and sixteen weeks; then once a year
thereafter.
**Parvo is only immune to your new puppy up to 99% effective TWO WEEKS AFTER ALL OF THE PUPPY SHOT SERIES
ARE COMPLETED PLUS TWO WEEKS ; that is to say, 18 weeks of age after all series of shots are given ON
SCHEDULE! **Please complete all shots**
You will be given a small amount of food that your pup has been eating (Eukanuba
Small Breed Puppy Formula). Feed this food dry and make sure the pup has access to fresh food and clean water.
When you purchase your own food, mix some of the new with the old for a while so the puppy can become used to the new food.
Chlorinated water may be distasteful to your new puppy so bottled water may need to be mixed with it gradually decreasing
the amounts until the puppy is used to the smell and taste of the new water. Filtered water may do just fine.
I recommend that a qualified veterinarian be consulted for any specific health questions.
